Young Wizards News

Diane has agreed with Harcourt on the terms of the contract for her next two novels, Wizards' Holiday and Wizards at War, and for a third novel which may or may not be a "Young Wizards" book. Wizards' Holiday is very tentatively scheduled for publication in October of 2003. No date has yet been set for Wizards at War, or the third book.

A Wizard Alone is set for publication mid-September 2002, and is set to cost $17 (American dollars.)

A Young Wizards official website is set to be finished to coincide with the publication of "A Wizard Alone."  Compromising of discussion forums, a chatroom, book extracts, Diane Duane's (we)blog, appearances and signings news and more, it can be found at:

A new extract of "A Wizard Alone" will be released the first of September, thanks to the wheedling of the Young Wizard forum members.  Link provided here as soon as it's available.

Diane Duane recently appeared at a Discworld Convention in Leicestershire, UK, and helped with writing workshops. 

This site is new, as such only some sections are up, and have minimal content.  Please, if you can help with content, e-mail the webmistresses at: mizzy_2k@yahoo.co.uk, castle_ebgb@yahoo.co.uk or red_five@sailormoon.com  Neither of the managers of the website have an actual copy of any of the books.  If you have copies of the book and can help with details that aren't exactly right or in adding terms to the glossary or character stats, then we would be most grateful.

This website also deals with information regarding "The Book of Night with Moon" and "To Visit the Queen" (aka "On Her Majesty's Wizardly Service" in Europe) as it is still set in Nita and Kit's universe.
